A hot hot hot Monday and we go to Hampton Beach State Park to cool off and find my sister and neices!

With the current state of the world, we pre-booked parking which was actually pretty great. Cost me $1 with my state park plates and guaranteed a spot right next to the beach regardless what time I showed up. Driving in at 10am I saw private lots a block from the beach charging $45!!! Yikes!

So the South end of the beach is kind of far from the main shopping strip and there is no food for purchase, there is bathrooms that were clean but the showers where closed off. No big deal, just bring your own drinking water and picnic and you won’t want to be further up with the crowd anyway.

The water was so clear and no seaweed, tide was out when we arrived with tiny waves that slowly got bigger as the tide came in four hours later. Perfect for the little ones.

Even on a crazy hot Monday the beach was busy but still plenty of space to enjoy. Maybe I will come back again before the end of summer if I can wash all that salty sand out of my hair and butt crack! Haha!
