Today we drove down to Stoddard, NH to meet friends for a hike up Pitcher Mountain to take a last peek at the pretty fall leaves before they are all gone. And wow, what a day for it! It was sunny and in the 70’s and decently clear for beautiful views.
It’s a pretty short hike up where you pass a field that may or may not have highland cows in it, today it did not. At the top is a fire tower, unmanned today, but you can climb to the platform below. The kids loved exploring all the little winding trails amongst the blueberry bushes and climbing all over the rocks. It was the perfect day to enjoy the last of the warm fall days.
