This morning the kids went to an Easter egg hunt in Springfield. It was again, freezing cold but sunny. The kids didn’t last as long as the egg hunt, but they did manage to get quite the loot before giving up and wanting to go home.

Then we finally dyed our hard boiled duck eggs. The girls drew on them with crayons to make patterns.

Then Susan and Raffi arrived in the afternoon and it warmed up enough to go back outside before an early Easter dinner.

We also made paper flowers and decorated the table with all our Easter things.

And there was lots of cake… which the girls got to help decorate and t-ball practice while we wait for dinner.
