April 30, 2021 – Caterpillars

Another rainy day here but the girls got a fun surprise in the mail… caterpillars! Thanks to Aunty Mary Ann the girls will get to raise Painted Lady butterflies again. There are five caterpillars in the jar, so fingers crossed we can be 100% successful!

And it was also Vava’s birthday, but we couldn’t surprise her with a visit this year (I am not ready for the drive with three kids on my own just yet!), so we called her instead.

And then we saw a beaver in the river! But by the time everyone found their binoculars, because you know, you never leave them on the windowsill where they are most convenient, the beaver was already long gone down the river and we looked for birds instead.
