Today is day two of Aurelia’s learning to read program. So far she is very enthusiastic and following along great! So this morning the kids took a day off pony chores so we could go to Lake Sunapee Protective Association for the last Exploration Station. First we had a picnic lunch because we are always hungry, then walked up the hill. Today was about birds. The kids went on a bird nest hunt inn the yard, pretended to be different birds using “beaks”, and got to touch real wings, skulls and feet of different birds. Afterward we took a scavenger hunt sheet to walk the river walk and head back to the car in the harbor. As always we learned loots of fun facts and had fun with Kathleen and Nancy.
And then we had to drive to Concord for the girls dentist appointments. All was well there. When we came home our Butcher Boxes has arrived so that meant dry ice to play with! So we did some experimenting with dry ice.
And then before dinner we hung out in the yard to play.
And that pretty much wraps up our day. For more photos click here or watch below…
