So I thought yesterday was hot… that was just the precursor for today! Phew it was hot! But we cooled off with friends in the river, friends we hadn’t seen since skiing, what a lifetime ago that feels.

The swimming hole and river down to it has lots more soft sand since last year, which is nice but unfortunately I found a bunch of glass too, ugh! Can you believe people used to have “bottle dumps” in their back yard swimming holes?
