This morning while Aurelia was at preschool Lorelei and I went to playgroup at St. Andrews church in New London. It has been a small group lately of kids mostly around Lorelei’s age which has been great! They all get along and play great together and the other mums/grands/carers have been great company for me too. As a parent I get excited to meet like minded people in similar lifestyle/age group as me, yay!

Then this afternoon, we had a quiet one at home. I saw common merganser couple swim by in the backyard. They actually hung around for a while but left when I opened the back door to try and take a photo, but before that we got to watch then fishing around from the windows. The male bird left with something in his beak, it looked like a stick though, not fish?

And we had a quick trip over to Hannaford for grocery shopping before making dinner and then the usual night routine of me going out to feed ponies and the cat, pick pony poop from the paddock and love on them all a little before tucking the girls into bed. and now I am ready for bed.
