We woke up this morning to more ice than snow, but it was a good layer for sledding and as it turns out skiing!

So the first time we went out, before brunch, we sledded. Jonathan was inside creating our feast! He made potato, sausage, egg hash thing which was yummy! With pancakes and blueberries of course.

Then after a short digestion break we all went out and skis were put on!

It was tiring and then we took a book break where Lorelei fell asleep.

And then once she was awake… 20 minutes later, back outside for more skiing!

Thankfully both girls are happy to take their skis off and just walk back up. While Aurelia has mastered how to side step her way back up it takes forever, haha, so she prefers to just walk back. There was also a pretty sunset on Mount Kearsarge.

And here is a video of their last run for the afternoon. It was only 30F and windy!

And then we remembered to check the next box in the Advent calendar.
