Today was a beautiful day here in NH. It started off a little icy at 31F as the sun rose but it soon warmed up to a high of 60F with lots of sun! I think I may have even spent a little too much time out there, my cheeks look a little pink to me this evening.

First things first, our fave farrier Luke came to trim the ponies feet. Jonathan took the girls for a wagon ride while I held the ponies for Luke.

Then Lorelei was ready for a nap, so while she napped Aurelia and I headed back outside and worked in the garden and prepped some pots for seeds. Aurelia loved helping and finding worms. She was so cute telling the little worms, “don’t worry, I will find you a worm buddy” as she continued to dig.

Then after lunch it was pretty windy today, so we tried to fly the kite. Had a couple successful times but it was too gusty.

Then the girls and I went for a wagon ride to feed the chickens and visit another neighbors yard to check out all their decorations. We got the idea to make an Easter Egg tree in our yard so that was the rest of the afternoon until friends stopped by before dinner to say hello!

After dinner Jonathan took the girls outside to play one more time while I cleaned up and fed the ponies. He also put one of Lorelei’s favorite swings back out for the season. She is so funny how she just hangs on for as long as she can then yells help!

So that was our day, and here is the slideshow…
