Daily Blog,  Hikes

May 25, 2020

Today was a little cloudy when we woke up. I was hoping it was just a low lying fog that would burn off but nope. Jonathan went for an early morning ride and managed to find blue skies up north.

But not down here. Friends came for pony rides this morning and the littles even had some fun with Iniki.

Then we decided to make the most of Jonathan’s extra day off and went for a drive to hike Pitcher Mountain in Stoddard, NH. Well, it should have had amazing views but the clouds and fog never burned off and instead we had a light drizzle. But there were no bugs and no wind, so we enjoyed the hike.

There is a big field you walk past that sometimes has highland cattle in it, but not today. A fire tower at the top, lots of blueberry bushes and like I said before, amazing views.

So I am hoping this summer we can go back to enjoy the hike again, maybe enjoy some cows and blueberries along with the view!
