Today we took a drive down south to Salem, NH to check out America’s Stonehenge. We met some friends for the hike too. It was cold and windy to start but warmed up before we knew it.

It is a pretty interesting place, you can click the link above to get the story. But there is a nice little “dig pit” for the kids to find hidden treasures before you start the hike to the Stonehenge site.

There are lots of place for the kids to step inside chambers and explore.

There was lots to see and very interesting reading, they give you a map with loads of info for each part of the site. Whether this place is truly as old as some people say, who knows? But it was cool to explore.

And then Aurelia decided she wanted some “souvenir shark teeth” from the gift shop, nothing to actually do with the site. And there was a “pink moon” tonight too.
