May 2, 2021 – Fort at No. 4

Today after a big brunch we ventured out to Charlestown NH to check out the Fort at No. 4. It is an open-air museum recreating life at the north western most village of the British colonies of 1735 until 1760.

I always think it is pretty amazing what people created back in the “olden days” with the resources they had. The lived amazing lives, I guess they never knew any better, with great hardships but they still managed to survive and thrive so that we are here today.

Aurelia also got to practice her French with an actual Frenchman reenactor who was a French chef. She was so adorable conversing with him.

Then at home we enjoyed a swing and play time outside after dinner.
